Sangeh is located approximately 20 kilometres on the north of Denpasar city,
in the regency of Badung, Bali. In this place of interest, we could find a
natural forest preservation of nutmeg trees, a home to
hundreds of cheeky monkeys. We could also find the Pura Bukit
Sari, manage by the traditional village of Sangeh.
The Pura Bukit Sari was built by the king of Mengwi, Tjokorda Sakti
Blambangan, on the 17th century to worship Bhatara Gunung Agung.
